SHIFT AVAILABILITY
  • 3rd Shift - Saturday, Sunday, Monday from 11:59 PM to 8:30 AM.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Cashier is tasked with accurately managing collection services for parking operations, meter systems, and inventory control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accurately collect parking fees using the designated computer system.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, ensuring all records are maintained accurately.
  • Process parking fees, accept tickets, and manage cash transactions.
  • Assist customers by explaining fees, providing directions, and locating vehicles.
  • Address customer complaints in a respectful and responsive manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the booth and surrounding areas.
  • Restock supplies necessary for daily operations.
  • Provide coverage for breaks for fellow Cashiers as needed.
  • Support Parking Customer Service when required.
  • Assist customers with jammed credit cards or tickets.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Report any unusual security situations to the appropriate authorities.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience that equips the individual to perform the job duties.
  • Previous experience in a cashier role.
  • Ability to be bonded.
  • Strong public relations skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to perform essential job functions without posing a safety risk to oneself or others.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Proficient in using a cash register or calculator.
  • Capability to climb stairs.
  • Ability to walk, sit, stand, stoop, push, pull, and run.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds or more.
  • Good vision, hearing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Good eye-hand coordination.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • May work in isolated conditions with minimal support.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions, working both indoors and outdoors.
  • Multiple work areas may be assigned.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively.
