Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Oracle RAC, Grid infrastructure, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
  • Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies, high availability solutions, and data replication.
  • Tune databases for optimal performance and response times.
  • Develop and maintain database security systems and access controls.
  • Document database processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement new database applications and systems.
  • Lead and manage a team of 5 database administrators, providing guidance and support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in Oracle database administration, with a focus on RAC, Grid infrastructure, and Data Guard.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of database administrators.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle certification (OCP, OCM, etc.).
  • Experience with Oracle Multitenant CDB/PDB administration.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server administration and backup/recovery processes.
