Director of Operations and Financial Strategy

The Institute for Women's Policy Research (IWPR) is seeking a highly skilled Director of Operations and Financial Strategy to join our Executive Leadership team. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, this role will play a crucial part in shaping IWPR's organizational systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of strategic financial planning and budgeting to ensure IWPR's continued growth and success.
Oversee the organization's operations, including finance, human resources, IT, and administration, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Serve as a key advisor to the President and CEO on matters related to financial strategy, risk management, and compliance.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to drive collaboration and achieve shared goals.
Requirements
A Master's degree in business, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience and expertise.
Senior-level management experience in complex organizations, preferably in the non-profit sector.
Demonstrated excellence in financial management, strategic planning, and leadership development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
A proven track record of fostering a culture of transparency, equity, and inclusion within an organization.
