Trauma Program Manager

As a Trauma Program Manager at Chi, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining policies, procedures, and protocols for the Trauma Services Department. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, Joint Commission, and State and Federal requirements. You will also educate staff and community on injury prevention and maintain current knowledge of trauma care through literature review, trauma conferences, and research. Additionally, you will coordinate and facilitate the review of emergency services records, participate in the development of summaries and reports from trauma registry data, and perform other duties as assigned. This role requires a strong background in emergency nursing and experience in trauma care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols for the Trauma Services Department.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, Joint Commission, and State and Federal requirements.
- Provide education and training to staff and community on injury prevention.
- Maintain current knowledge of trauma care through literature review, trauma conferences, and research.

- Participate in the development of summaries and reports from trauma registry data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
Education: Associates Degree, Nursing
Experience: Three years emergency room nursing experience
Required Licensure and Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN); BLS; ACLS; PALS or ENPC and TNCC
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training:
Ability to relate to people and handle complex situations
