Role Summary: In the capacity of Senior Manager for the Global Planning team at Aviat Networks, you will play a pivotal role in defining our strategic initiatives. You will oversee the global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, concentrating on boosting customer satisfaction, enhancing profitability, and optimizing supply chain efficiency. Your ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners will be essential in steering our organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly S&OP process and ensure a well-balanced global S&OP in local supply planning.
  • Examine sales data and trends to formulate statistical forecasts for the Operations Demand Plan.
  • Work closely with Sales to synchronize the consensus Demand Plan during monthly discussions.
  • Create a monthly local Supply Plan derived from the consensus Demand Plan.
  • Develop tools to improve operational planning capabilities and foster continuous enhancement.
  • Establish stock levels, mitigate excess inventory, and provide insights for data-driven portfolio management.
  • Address demand and supply discrepancies and oversee production plans and material logistics.
  • Monitor customer stock levels, manage product transitions, and support departmental goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in demand planning and supply chain management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills, along with project management expertise.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is required; familiarity with Kinaxis RapidResponse is a plus.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and strategic planning software.
  • Highly driven, capable of working independently, under pressure, and meeting stringent deadlines.
