Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Imaging Team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and produce images of organs on photographic film.
  • Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders and administer and record dosages as needed.
  • Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Compassionately explain procedures to patients and address their concerns to provide a positive patient experience.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient information using computerized documentation systems.
  • Assist with transporting patients as needed.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification.
