About the Role:

As a PET/CT Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, you will play a critical role in administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to patients to detect diseases. Using advanced radiation producing and detecting equipment, you will work under the direction of a physician to ensure viable images are obtained.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Radiopharmaceuticals: Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients to detect diseases, using radiation producing and detecting equipment.
  • Operate Radiation Equipment: Operate advanced radiation producing and detecting equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with Physicians: Work closely with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Education and Licensure: Dual Florida license (CRT), Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), and General Radiographer (ARRT) (R) is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Sciences or Nuclear Medicine is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a PET/CT Technologist is preferred.
  • Certifications: A valid BLS/CPR certification is required.
  • Communication Skills: Fluency in the English language and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
