About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Service Banker to join our team at Banco Popular Puerto Rico. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and meeting the financial needs of our customers, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting our bank's products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet branch targets and sales goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Proactively conduct sales activities, including outbound prospecting, in-person and phone interviews, and community involvement
  • Cultivate internal partnerships to promote integrated sales and service efforts
  • Support marketing campaigns and product launches, leveraging marketing tools and branch technology
  • Educate clients on self-service capabilities and encourage use of digital service channels
  • Perform basic inquiries relative to account openings and ensure customer knowledge of account features
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to the banking environment, bank competition, and customer business environment
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college
  • At least one year of demonstrated successful sales experience and six months of cash handling experience or equivalent related experience and training
  • NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $26.00 to $29.00 hourly, depending on business need and qualifications. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our workplace.
