We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality and Performance Improvement Specialist to join our team at UCHealth. This role will be responsible for identifying key clinical quality and patient safety measures, promoting the use of appropriate measures for clinical services, and using the results of quality improvement activities to initiate changes in patient care practices and in the healthcare delivery system.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and prioritize clinical quality and patient safety measures to improve patient outcomes
- Develop and implement quality improvement plans to address identified areas for improvement
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote the use of evidence-based practices and improve patient care
- Analyze data and metrics to inform quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- Preferred: Trauma program/services experience; quality improvement experience
