Job Title: Lighting Groundperson

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Groundperson to join our team at Utilities Service Co Inc. As a Lighting Groundperson, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining streetlights and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist lineperson from the ground by providing material and keeping the work area clean and safe.
  • Excavate to assist in the installation of structures or cable as required by contract specification.
  • Communicate with public and private property owners to inform them of work to be performed.
  • Exposure to traffic may require flagging certification.
  • Knowledge of all tools related to work.
  • Perform other duties related to the installation of lighting power supply.
  • Other duties as required or requested by Supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Possess knowledge of heavy equipment.
  • Ability to follow directions, work safely and productively.
  • Problem-solving skills to address unidentified circumstances on any job.
  • Identify, operate and service all required tools and equipment.
