Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Philosophy Instructor to join our team at Metropolitan State University of Denver. The successful candidate will teach courses in Philosophy, including introductory and advanced classes, and contribute to the development of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach 3-9 credit hours in Philosophy, with the possibility of teaching online or in-person.
  • Develop and deliver course materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Grade student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Engage with students through office hours and academic support.
  • Meet departmental and university policies for teaching and evaluation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Philosophy or a closely related field.
  • Ph.D. in Philosophy or a closely related field preferred.
  • Teaching experience, particularly in Philosophy, is highly valued.
