Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Technician to join our team at North Carolina Division Office. As a Cardiac Monitor Technician, you will play a vital role in monitoring patients' heart activity and interpreting heart rhythms from a central monitoring center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe telemetry monitors continuously and recognize and document rhythm tracings.
  • Monitor Cerner Patient Observer (CPO) and recognize patient movement, proactively alerting nurses and other caregivers to prevent adverse events.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment, such as CNA, EMT, or other related areas, preferred.
  • Completion of dysrhythmia course preferred.
