Job Summary

As a Cardiac Monitor Technician with North Carolina Division Office, you will play a vital role in the lives of cardiac patients by monitoring multiple patients' heart activity and interpreting heart rhythms from a central monitoring center. This is a critical position that requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe telemetry monitors continuously and recognize and document rhythm tracings.
  • Monitor Cerner Patient Observer (CPO) and recognize patient movement, proactively alerting nurses and other caregivers to prevent adverse events.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment, such as CNA, EMT, or other related areas, is preferred.
  • Completion of a dysrhythmia course is a plus.
