Cage Cashier Job Summary

Cliff Castle Casino is seeking a skilled Cage Cashier to assist guests with monetary transactions efficiently and accurately while providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various redemptions and exchange transactions with accuracy, including gaming checks, coin/currency exchanges, check cashing, cash advances, coupon/voucher redemptions, and more.
  • Accurately balance assigned bank and maintain a working knowledge of the facility and special events to keep guests informed.
  • Assist other cashiers in the Cage when needed and hold accountability for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, maintain professional composure, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Recent experience handling large volumes of currency and transactions, such as bank teller, cashier, or CSM.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to accurately operate a 10-key calculator by sight, and pass a basic math test.
  • Ability to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S., participate in pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, and obtain a valid Gaming License.
  • Professional and courteous manner, availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary, and compliance with Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
