Cage Cashier Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cage Cashier to join our team at Cliff Castle Casino. As a Cage Cashier, you will be responsible for assisting guests with monetary transactions efficiently and accurately while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various redemptions and exchange transactions with accuracy, including gaming checks, coin/currency exchanges, check cashing, cash advances, coupon/voucher redemptions, etc.
• Accurately balance assigned bank.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the facility, as well as special events on property, to keep guests informed.
• Assist other cashiers in the Cage when needed.
• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
• Work efficiently under pressure, maintain professional composure, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Recent experience handling large volumes of currency and transactions, such as bank teller, cashier, or CSM.
• Ability to accurately operate a 10-key calculator by sight.
• Pass basic math test.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
• Be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary.
• Comply with all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
