Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to support our buying team in vendor communication, product research, inventory management, and order processing. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery and resolving any order issues with vendors.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in researching new products, trends, and vendor opportunities.
  • Keep records organized for purchase orders, invoices, and vendor communications.
  • Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery and help resolve any order issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting demand to maintain optimal stock.
  • Collaborate with our merchandising team to create product assortments and displays.
  • Learn to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to support buying decisions.
  • Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations related to purchasing and inventory.
  • Assist with pricing negotiations and vendor contracts to help secure cost-effective purchases.
  • Support seasonal promotions and markdown strategies to align with business needs.
