Supply Chain Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the supply chain and procurement processes. This position combines administrative, operational, and financial responsibilities, including inventory management, supplier relationships, logistics coordination, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory and Order Management: Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to ensure a continuous supply of materials. Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy in quantity, cost, and quality.
- Vendor and Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and reliability. Assist in negotiating contracts and resolving delivery or quality issues.
- Shipping and Logistics Coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Track shipments, manage logistics documentation, and work with carriers to optimize delivery schedules.
- Finance Interface: Collaborate closely with the finance department to manage the receiving and closing of purchase orders, ensuring accurate financial documentation and reconciliation.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze purchasing and supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Prepare regular reports on inventory turnover, vendor performance, shipping times, and cost trends for management review.
