Job Title: Sr Network Architect

GDT is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Network Architect to lead the design and migration of an on-prem data center infrastructure to cloud environments, with a preference for Azure or multi-cloud solutions. This role will provide oversight and governance for all network technology and domains, ensuring solutions architecture assurance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead architecture meetings, providing insights on data center migration to cloud-based networks.
  • Design and implement cloud network architectures (Azure, AWS, Google, OCI Oracle) and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Guide the transition of DC network technologies, including SD-WAN, SDN, ACI, VXLAN, and NEXUS infrastructure.
  • Implement security best practices with a focus on NAC and zero trust security models.
  • Collaborate on VMware and cloud integration to optimize network performance.
  • Oversee the end-to-end migration of data center infrastructure to the cloud.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in cloud network migrations (preferably Azure or multi-cloud environments).
  • Expertise in SD-WAN, VMware, ACI, and modern DC network technologies.
  • Strong understanding of network security, including NAC and zero trust security models.
  • Experience with NEXUS, VXLAN, and SDN implementations.
