Key Responsibilities
  • Perform secretarial and clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Act as a communication center for the nursing unit, responding to patient and staff inquiries.
  • Perform specific patient care procedures under the direction of a licensed Nurse, such as bedside testing.
  • Operate patient monitoring systems and assist with the operation of the nursing or clinical department.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Clinical experience or completion of a Unit Secretary course preferred.
  • Must successfully complete competency verification before starting on assigned unit.
  • BLS Certification required at time of hire.
