Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at BluePrint Automation. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for packaging solutions, including robotic experience in the packaging automation industry.
  • Work closely with the Mechanical Engineering department to ensure design meets performance, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Controls, Software, Purchasing, Fabrication, Applications, and Service.
  • Generate technical concepts, layouts, and cost calculations.
  • Perform customer site visits to help solve field issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related program and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in machine design, with experience in packaging/robotic machines required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to interact and work as a team with other mechanical engineers.
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering development process utilizing SolidWorks, ACAD, FEA, and related engineering software techniques.
