Seasonal Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Seasonal Customer Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing solutions to meet their needs
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of cash handling standards
- Engage customers in our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, promoting enrollment and educating them on the benefits
- Educate customers on our Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, ensuring their feedback is heard and valued
- Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), ensuring seamless customer experiences
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, maintaining a well-organized store environment
- Responsible for completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery
- Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, ensuring optimal store inventory levels
- Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs
- Interact with colleagues in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
- Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production, providing exceptional customer service and promoting our products
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities
