Job Overview

Position: Product Lifecycle Management Specialist


The Product Lifecycle Management Specialist plays a vital role within the Configuration Management (CM) team, contributing significantly to the oversight of product lifecycle elements within our PLM framework. This position is essential for ensuring that all components maintain the correct associations within the product hierarchy and adhere to established company policies and procedures.


Work Arrangement: Fully Remote

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise related to the plant product hierarchy within the PLM system.
  • Generate parts, specifications, design foundations, and reference materials within the PLM environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to establish necessary attributes for PLM components.
  • Initiate Change Actions to facilitate the release of items in the PLM system.
  • Maintain both standard and project-specific product hierarchies within PLM.
  • Conduct Responsible Configuration Management (RCM) evaluations of technical documents to ensure compliance with CM submission standards.
  • Coordinate CM-related tasks with various internal teams, including engineering, project management, sourcing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, as well as external partners.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of CM processes and tools relevant to the assigned responsibilities.
  • Support quality assurance requirements, including participation in design assessments and managing corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in engineering, business, or a closely related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Configuration Management, Bill of Materials (BOM) management, or product structure oversight.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Enovia PLM or similar software solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Configuration Management (CMII, CMPIC, etc.)
  • Experience in roles that involve interaction with customers, regulators, or suppliers.
  • Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations applicable to nuclear power facilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of responsibilities and outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and an inclusive approach.
  • Proven ability to meet commitments and deliver quality results within tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn various organizational interfaces with professionalism and agility.
  • Proficient in communication tools and office software (e.g., Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of design engineering methodologies.
  • Experience in managing engineering lifecycles and changes.
  • Document management proficiency.
