  • Inspection Method Development: Formulate and validate inspection methodologies to assess component quality and overall product integrity.
  • Compliance Review: Engage in the evaluation and analysis of adherence to customer purchase order quality specifications.
  • Quality Improvement: Propose enhancements to product quality through strategic recommendations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to drive product enhancements.
  • Zero Defects Program Leadership: Act as the team leader for the implementation of the Zero Defects initiative.
  • Problem-Solving: Generate innovative solutions for identified quality issues.
  • Technical Support: Offer proactive recommendations for inspection tasks to meet customer expectations, including technical documentation support.
  • Audit Assistance: Support auditors or inspectors in documenting results and findings during internal quality audits.
  • Corrective Action Documentation: Aid process owners in documenting corrective action reports related to audit findings.
  • System Implementation: Establish a robust system to guarantee conformity and precision in processes.
  • FAI and Inspection Plans: Contribute to the development and maintenance of AS9102 First Article Inspection reports and final inspection plans.
  • Inspection Oversight: Supervise inspection methods in alignment with engineering and quality standards.
  • RMA and Rejection Management: Coordinate customer return merchandise authorizations and internal rejection processes with the Material Review Board team.
  • Board Participation: Actively participate in the Material Review Board and Corrective Action Board processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality Management; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Certifications in AS 9100 Quality Standards are advantageous.
  • Over 10 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven experience in a quality assurance role is essential.
  • Familiarity with documentation for Advanced Planning Quality Programs (APQP), including PFMEAs and MPRs.
  • Competence in computer technology and operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Vision, and Charting.
