Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Custodian Event Setup Assistant to join our team at Louisiana State University. This role will be responsible for setting up and maintaining event spaces, including arranging furniture, preparing for functions, and ensuring a smooth event experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform room set-ups, including furniture arrangement, and lunch setups, including ice down drinks and arrange coffee, for functions and events.
  • Perform take-down of room arrangements after events.
  • Assist with race routes and vendor setups for walks/races using the campus grounds and lake walking track.
  • Perform grounds clean-up after outdoor events.
Requirements
  • Custodian 1: No experience or training required.
  • Custodian 2: Six months of experience in custodial, housekeeping, grounds keeping, or food service work.
