Role Overview:

The Graphic Production Specialist plays a crucial role in developing and refining graphics and imagery for various digital and print media, including product packaging and promotional materials. This position requires the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in essential software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is required. We seek an individual with exceptional organizational skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and the capability to juggle various tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with the Senior Production Artist and Creative Services Project Manager to review packaging requirements.
- Adhere to brand standards and guidelines in all design work.
- Ensure that packaging designs accurately reflect the company's brand identity and values.
- Work alongside graphic designers and copywriters to finalize text and visual elements for packaging.
- Create final mock-up designs utilizing Adobe Photoshop.
- Prepare final files for both print and digital production.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage responsibilities and maintain organization under pressure.
- Prepare proofs for client approval.
- Support cross-functional teams by addressing their project needs.
- Identify and implement efficiencies within the department.
- Stay updated on current graphic design trends.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in fine arts, digital media, graphic design, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
- Ability to demonstrate advanced skills in clipping masks, layers, color swatch palettes, and hand-drawing techniques with the pen tool.
- A strong commitment to quality and perfection is crucial.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
- Proficient in typesetting, layout design, photo editing, and color correction.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud is necessary.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities are required.
- A natural talent for design coupled with a keen eye for detail is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in packaging design is a plus.
- Knowledge of various packaging materials is advantageous.

Compensation:

This is a contractor position that offers a hybrid work model.
