SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is between $160,000 and $190,000, with incentive-based compensation opportunities available. This competitive package reflects the market rate for a faculty member with your expertise and experience.
Job DescriptionThis is a clinical position primarily focused on outpatient and inpatient consultant services, as well as participation in the clinical education of medical students and residents. You will work closely with our current team of four Pediatric Endocrinologists, three Nurse Practitioners, an RD, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality care to over 3,000 patients annually.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour duties may include:
- Patient care: Providing expert consultation and treatment services to pediatric patients with endocrine disorders.
- Teaching: Participating in the clinical education of medical students and residents, promoting hands-on learning experiences and developing future leaders in the field.
- Research: Engaging in independent or sponsored research projects, contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes.
- Administrative duties: Collaborating with departmental leadership to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that enhance the delivery of care and promote operational efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A medical degree (MD) and board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology (BC/BE).
- Immediate eligibility for licensure in New York.
