Chief Nephrologist

The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking an exceptional Division Chief of Pediatric Nephrology to lead our highly respected and dynamic division. As a key member of the Department of Pediatrics, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical, research, and educational activities of the division.

1. Oversight of clinical operations, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, CARPEDIEM, and kidney transplantation services
2. Leadership in developing and implementing strategic plans for research, education, and quality improvement initiatives
3. Mentoring and guiding junior faculty and fellows in their professional development

We are seeking a candidate with:

• Pediatric Nephrology fellowship training and board certification
• Progressive leadership experience in pediatric nephrology medicine
• An independent scholarly portfolio and a track record of success in research or quality improvement

The University of Rochester offers a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000, based on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for additional compensation through performance-based incentives.

Golisano Children's Hospital is a 148-bed facility with a 13-bed PICU, 16-bed Cardiac ICU, and 68-bed NICU. The Department of Pediatrics offers broad research opportunities, a supportive Clinical & Translational Science Institute, and participation in several nephrology study groups.
