Job Overview

At Securitas Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Training Supervisor to join our team. As a Field Training Supervisor, you will be responsible for facilitating routine Standard Operating Procedure refresher training, developing training schedules, and providing on-the-spot coaching to specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in briefings to facilitate routine Standard Operating Procedure refresher training, discuss training initiatives, and post inspection focus areas.
  • Facilitate and document drills in the field, ensuring that all specialists are properly trained and equipped to handle emergency situations.
  • Perform and document audits on specialists to test their skills and knowledge, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develops training schedules in conjunction with management, ensuring that all specialists receive regular training and support.
  • Provide on-the-spot coaching to specialists, helping them to improve their performance and address any issues that may arise during patrols.
  • Document interactions (audits, coaching, etc.) and report findings to leadership, ensuring that all incidents are thoroughly investigated and addressed.
  • Act to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training, on-the-job training as required for purposes of certifications and under the terms of client contracts.
  • Create and update resource materials used in the field, including PowerPoints, handouts, videos, and SharePoint pages, to ensure that all specialists have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Cross-train with Training and Development Supervisors to serve as a backup in the event additional support is needed.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who possesses the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of security experience, customer service, or hospitality experience.
  • Standard computer / technology skills needed.
  • Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
  • Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
  • Must have great attention to detail.
  • Must be comfortable conducting access control duties.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for state of assignment and insurable driving record.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication & transportation.
  • Must be advanced in the ability to speak, read, and write English.
