Homebase Behavior Consulting Inc. is expanding its team and is in search of dedicated Behavior Technicians.
We are looking for motivated and passionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) who will work alongside our team to implement effective, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a Behavior Technician, you will observe, document progress, and complete session notes while actively supporting and tracking client development. At Homebase Behavior Consulting, we are committed to delivering exceptional services to our clients. You will benefit from mentorship and support from experienced BCBAs in the ABA field. Therapy sessions may take place in the client's home or at our facility, depending on the client's needs.
This role typically requires availability during morning or afternoon hours, with BT hours ranging from 10 to 30 hours per week based on client schedules. Behavior Technicians will receive comprehensive training and certification, competitive pay, flexible working hours, and opportunities for weekend shifts. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license (driving is necessary)
- Proficient in computer skills, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children
- Strong time management, observational, and analytical skills
- Ability to comprehend detailed information through written and verbal communication
- Eagerness to learn and apply new skills, along with the capacity to work collaboratively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Punctuality is essential - consistent attendance is crucial for our clients and their families
- Reliable transportation is mandatory
- Must be eligible to work in the US, no sponsorships available
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized therapy using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, either in-home or at our center.
- Focus on developing life skills such as social interaction, emotional regulation, and daily living activities.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress.
- Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Communicate client progress to the BCBA and assist in updating goals as necessary.
- Support the BCBA in training families on the implementation of treatment plans.
- Collaborate with fellow clinicians and participate in scheduled team meetings.
- Ensure accessibility of each child's treatment plan for substitute therapists.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Foster open communication with families and the clinical team to ensure effective treatment and goal achievement.
Compensation:
- $18-$28 per hour (based on experience)
