About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned Workers Compensation Associate Attorney to join our plaintiff-side workers compensation practice. As a key member of our team, you will represent clients in all aspects of workers compensation claims, including hearings, appeals, and litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Representing clients in all aspects of workers compensation claims, including but not limited to, hearings, appeals, and litigation.
  • Conducting thorough case evaluations to determine the validity of clients' claims.
  • Developing and implementing effective legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating settlement agreements.
  • Providing expert legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under workers compensation laws.
  • Staying abreast of the latest developments in workers compensation laws and regulations.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Ohio state bar.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in workers compensation law, including experience in hearings and litigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent clients effectively in court.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Demonstrated commitment to advocating for the rights of workers.

Salary and Benefits

$85,000 - $110,000 per year.
