About the Role

Soliant Education Staffing Agency is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Math Teacher for a full-time, contracted position. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about teaching mathematics and committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for middle school students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Deliver Interactive Math Lessons: Create and implement effective math lessons tailored to middle school students, promoting a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Establish a Positive Classroom Environment: Develop a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement, enthusiasm, and a love for math.
  • Assess Student Progress and Provide Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues and Stakeholders: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support and enhance student learning, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Participate in Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mathematics education and contribute to the growth and development of the school community.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Education or Related Field: Hold a degree in mathematics education or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in mathematical knowledge and pedagogy.
  • Minimum of 3 Years of Teaching Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the middle school level, with a proven track record of success in promoting student learning and achievement.
  • Strong Knowledge of Middle School Math Curriculum: Demonstrate a deep understanding of middle school math curriculum and teaching methods, including the ability to design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to Inspire and Motivate Students: Demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse learning needs, promoting a love of learning and a growth mindset.
  • Valid Teaching Certification (if applicable): Hold a valid teaching certification, if applicable, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and a high standard of teaching practice.
