Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will work closely with our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized behavior plans for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one support to children with autism, teaching them essential skills and behaviors that will enhance their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior plans developed by BCBAs
  • Collect data and conduct assessments as needed
  • Work one-on-one with assigned clients, as well as in group sessions
  • Collaborate with peers and supervisors to ensure high-quality care
Benefits

As a Registered Behavior Technician with Highlights Healthcare, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate, starting at $20.00/hour, commensurate with experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including:

  • Hourly rate for Behavior Technicians (BTs) who have not yet taken/passed the BACB certification test: $18.00/hour, commensurate with experience
  • Primarily center-based services
  • Day shift schedule between 8 am and 5 pm
  • No evenings
  • Full-time and part-time options available
  • Benefits for full-time employees, including Paid Training, Paid Time Off (PTO), Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Internal HHC Student Analyst program for career advancement (BCBA track)
  • Tuition Reimbursement for current RBTs enrolled in an ABA Master's program and actively enrolled in the HHC Student Analyst Program
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (preferred)
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in working with children, adolescents, or adults with special needs (preferred)
  • Be able to successfully complete a criminal history background check
  • Have reliable transportation and, in some cases, proof of driver's license and valid car insurance
  • Be bilingual (highly preferred)
