About the Role

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Certified Central Sterilization Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Central Processing Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
  • Prepare and package surgical instruments for use in procedures
  • Assemble case carts for surgical procedures
  • Distribute medical and surgical supplies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required within 1 year of hire
  • Working knowledge of sterilization procedures and equipment management preferred
  • Computer experience required, with proficiency in MSM and Meditech a plus
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
