Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and communicating any changes in status.
- Execute procedures and tasks as directed by the medical provider.
- Accurately document care provided in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain expertise in medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to wound care.
Qualifications Required
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Preferred advanced certifications (e.g., CEN, TNCC).
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and lifting patients or equipment up to 50 lbs.
- A minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience in Wound Care.
