Ultrasound Technologist PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As an Ultrasound Tech, you will perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology to detect pathology and assist in the daily operation of the Ultrasound Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic procedures applying prescribed methods of ultrasound technique.
  • Produce diagnostic images using Doppler, abdominal or pregnancy ultrasound.
  • Select transducer and adjust equipment controls according to organ to be examined, depth of field and other specifications of test.
  • Assist physician with ultrasound guided biopsies and/or invasive procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment.
  • Assist with transporting patients.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an Accredited school of Diagnostic Ultrasound.
  • ARDMS registered.
  • RVT or eligible and acquired within six months of hire.
  • 1 year experience in performing Diagnostic Ultrasound including but not limited to: Abdomen, Vascular, GYN, Small Parts.
