Job Title: Storage Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Solutions Architect to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, architect, and develop storage solutions that optimize performance and scalability across multiple computing environments and platforms.

Your expertise in Linux and storage configurations will be essential in supporting and maintaining storage devices, including SAN, NAS, and scale-out object storage. You will work closely with vendors to ensure seamless hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.

As a Storage Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with System Administrators and other engineering personnel to implement storage configurations that meet the needs of our customers. Your experience with Agile Development Methodologies, such as Scrum and SAFe, will be valuable in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting Network Attached Storage Systems. Your expertise in fiber channel configurations, Brocade Fire Channel administration, and automation frameworks such as Ansible or Chef will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect storage solutions that optimize performance and scalability
  • Develop and implement storage configurations that meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless hardware and software installation and troubleshooting
  • Work closely with System Administrators and other engineering personnel to implement storage configurations
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Linux and storage configurations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in storage solutions

Requirements:

  • BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting Network Attached Storage Systems
  • Expertise in Linux and storage configurations
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies, such as Scrum and SAFe
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible or Chef
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
