About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team at Jobot. As a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating conditions and diseases of the eye.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage diseases and conditions of the retina, macula, and vitreous.
  • Perform specialized surgical procedures to treat conditions such as retinal detachment, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Provide patient education on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of retina specialty through publications and presentations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements, technologies, and treatments in retina care.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while maintaining the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in ophthalmology.
  • Fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery is highly recommended.
  • Excellent surgical and diagnostic skills with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and an ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Experience in clinical research and a desire to contribute to the advancement of the retina specialty.
  • Valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state.
