Neuropathology Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a Neuropathologist at the University of California, San Francisco. This is a full-time clinical faculty position with an academic appointment in the Clinical X or In Residence series.

The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical service obligations on the surgical neuropathology service, as well as other neuropathology subspecialty areas. This may include molecular, autopsy, neuromuscular, and ophthalmic neuropathology services. The candidate will also participate in academic activities, such as clinical and/or basic research, and teaching of medical school students, residents, fellows, and non-Pathology faculty colleagues.

• MD or MD/PhD degree
• California medical license
• Experience and qualifications commensurate with the rank and step

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The minimum base salary range for this position is $112,500 - $377,200. This position includes membership in the which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
