Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Palliative Care Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in palliation and be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

  • Assess and treat medical needs of hospice and palliative care patients
  • Perform preliminary assessments and consults, as well as ongoing follow-up visits for emotional, social, spiritual, and environmental needs
  • Coordinate care to ensure patients receive needed supplies, treatments, and interventions to alleviate physical, psychological, social, and spiritual pain
Qualifications

We require a Doctor of medicine or osteopathy with current license to practice and prescribe scheduled drugs. A minimum of two years of experience post-residency program with familiarity of hospice and/or palliative care is also necessary.

Hospice and Palliative Care board certification required or obtained within one year of hire.
