Job Overview

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Educator to join our team. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and leading a model Montessori classroom, fostering independence and developing competent, capable, action-oriented thinkers and change agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth

Requirements:

  • A CDA or BA in Early Childhood Education
  • A Montessori Diploma/Certificate for the 3-6 age group or willingness to receive free training to become certified
  • Experience working with children in a group setting, such as a preschool, daycare, childcare, nursery, or Reggio Emilia center
  • A passion for Montessori education and a commitment to fostering independence and self-directed learning
