Work Schedule:

  • 8 hours per bi-weekly pay period
  • Day Shift
  • 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate, measure, and document radiation dosages or radiopharmaceuticals, adhering to physician directives.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for disease detection using specialized equipment under physician supervision.
  • Ensure proper storage and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Conduct cardiac function studies and transmit relevant images to the PACS system.
  • Utilize imaging technology to detect and map radiopharmaceuticals within patients' bodies, producing images for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Perform accurate data entry into the PACS and other electronic records.
  • Maintain familiarity with the scheduling process within the healthcare information system.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine; 2-5 years preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
