Position Overview:
This role involves performing high-quality imaging procedures that aid Radiologists in diagnosing conditions related to Nuclear Medicine. The specialist will be responsible for the preparation, administration, and measurement of radioactive isotopes using advanced radioisotope equipment.

Work Schedule:
• 8-hour shifts
• Day shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:
• Calculate, measure, and document radiation dosages or radiopharmaceuticals received, utilized, and disposed of, adhering to physician directives.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for disease detection, operating under the guidance of a physician.
• Safely store and dispose of radioactive materials and radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with radiation safety protocols.
• Conduct cardiac function studies using the workstation and transmit relevant images to PACS.
• Detect and map radiopharmaceuticals within patients' bodies using imaging technology to generate interpretive images.
• Ensure accurate data entry into the PACS system and maintain familiarity with the scheduling process within the HIS system.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine; 2-5 years preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
