East Hanover New Jersey, United States Encore Fire Protection Full time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and meticulous Fire Protection Systems Consultant who embodies a blend of sociability and tenacity. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on engaging with others and is known for their unwavering determination.

At Encore Fire Protection, we pride ourselves on being a premier, comprehensive fire safety service provider across the Northeast.

Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our diverse and skilled workforce, which is essential to our mission of setting the standard in the fire protection industry.

In collaboration with City Fire Equipment Co., we are expanding our reach and enhancing our capabilities, allowing us to attract top-tier talent and work alongside industry leaders who share our dedication to quality.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player who can also work independently. They will possess a keen eye for detail while maintaining a broad perspective on overall objectives.

Exceptional organizational skills and effective time management are crucial for thriving in our fast-paced environment with stringent deadlines.

This role transcends traditional inside sales functions. You will partner with an external sales representative, spending time in the office to engage with internal teams for accurate quoting, proposal development, and customer communication via phone and email.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cultivate enduring relationships with clients.
2. Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, to ensure a unique customer experience.
3. Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources.
4. Analyze previous inspection reports to identify system deficiencies and collaborate with clients on service quotes.
5. Execute administrative tasks such as drafting and sending contract renewals, completing proposals, and managing forms.

Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to these responsibilities. The remaining time will be spent engaging with clients in person, fostering relationships, and assessing life safety equipment to provide accurate quotes and service contracts.Qualifications:

While technical expertise in suppression systems is essential, the following attributes are vital for success in this role:

- Proven sales experience beyond retail or hospitality, with a preference for service-oriented sales.
- A willingness to learn about alarm and sprinkler systems is crucial.

We understand that this may be challenging for highly competitive individuals eager to produce immediate results, and we want to be transparent about this expectation.

- Proficiency in computer applications is required, particularly in the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Familiarity with Hubspot, Zendesk, Slack, and ServiceTrade is advantageous but not mandatory; a readiness to learn these platforms is essential.

- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to build meaningful relationships with clients and serve as their advocate.

Benefits:

Encore Fire Protection is dedicated to fostering a culture of success and enhancing the safety and well-being of our clients daily. We recognize and reward contributions to our growth, understanding that rewards extend beyond financial compensation.

Successful candidates can expect:
1. A full-time position with a competitive salary and performance-based commission structure.
2. A casual dress code, with flexibility for formal attire when necessary.
3. Company-branded apparel provided biannually.
4. Daily snacks and coffee, along with weekly catered office meals.
5. An environment that encourages innovation and the sharing of ideas.
6. Access to advanced web-based productivity tools.
7. Participation in a Fidelity 401(K) plan with employer matching.
8. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage through Blue Cross.
9. Company-paid life insurance coverage of $50,000.

Encore Fire Protection is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an E-Verify Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
