Job Summary

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction using innovative technologies. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses on campus and online, as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Deliver quality instruction to students in a variety of settings, including on-campus and online courses.
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Grading and Feedback
    • Post grades and provide timely feedback to students to support their academic success.
    • Submit final grades for each semester by the established deadline.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Complete required college trainings and reports, including attendance, early alerts, and progress reports.
    • Administer and return surveys as required.
    • Attend meetings as requested by the program chair and/or dean.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay current with developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and learning skills.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field with at least 18 credit hours in graduate-level Nutrition from an accredited institution.
  • Collegiate-level teaching experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
