Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team at the Caswell Developmental Center. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating behavior treatment and training programs for individuals with significant intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and functional assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adherence to applicable policies and regulations, including those related to behavior modification and therapeutic interventions.
  • Prepare data analysis and reports to track progress and inform treatment decisions.
  • Monitor restrictive programs and ensure compliance with established protocols.
  • Conduct staff training and provide clinical and administrative supervision to other psychology paraprofessional staff.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure in North Carolina under the provisions of the NC Psychology Practice Act (G.S 90-270.1 et seq).
  • Master's or doctoral degree in psychology from an appropriately accredited college or university.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior modification techniques, therapeutic interventions, and psychological assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
