Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team in providing exceptional psychological support to students and staff. This role is crucial in enhancing educational outcomes and fostering a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive psychological support plans to promote student success
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to provide a cohesive support system
  • Conduct assessments and interventions to address student mental health needs
  • Provide consultation and training to staff on mental health topics and crisis intervention
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other educational planning processes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Active North Carolina certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience in schools is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player who can also work independently
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines
