Intermediate Care Unit Specialist

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intermediate Care Unit Specialist to join our team at a respected acute-care hospital in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and overall health, promptly addressing any changes or signs of distress.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' medical conditions and recovery, accurately documenting findings and communicating with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, strictly following all medical protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Respond quickly in emergency situations, delivering critical care and life-saving interventions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • CPR-BCLS Certification (must be obtained before the end of orientation)
  • ACLS Certification (required before completing orientation)
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (must be acquired prior to finishing orientation)
  • Proficient in entering patient information into healthcare systems
  • Capable of effectively using therapeutic equipment
  • Maintain a polished, professional demeanor at all times
  • Strong understanding of the nursing process and the ability to provide care in accordance with the highest standards
  • Able to manage sensitive patient information with discretion
Work Schedule:

Night shifts with flexible hours

Salary:

$84,830 - $102,000 per year
