Job Summary

The City of Round Rock is seeking a skilled Utility Services Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Public Works Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our water and wastewater systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field work and communicate with contractors and vendors to ensure system quality and accuracy.
  • Inspect and input documents, reports, CCTV data, and work orders into various databases and data collection systems.
  • Provide technical and data support as a subject matter expert in areas such as CCTV repair, SCADA monitoring, line locating, and work order systems.
  • Assist other departments by providing services and support.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three or more years of experience in utility services or a similar position.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree education may substitute for work experience on a year-to-year basis.
  • Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
