Job Overview

TechOp Solutions International is a leading provider of innovative solutions to federal clients.

We are seeking a highly experienced Privacy Project Manager (PM) to lead privacy initiatives and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of professional experience, including 10+ years in privacy-related work, and 5+ years of project management experience.

A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, while a Master's degree or Juris Doctorate is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage privacy-related projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Directly support the federal privacy officer as an advisor to provide expertise in all aspects of privacy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, IT, program offices, and compliance teams, to align on privacy initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between TechOp Solutions and the client agency, ensuring all deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
  • Facilitate project meetings and present status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Implement project management best practices to enhance team productivity and project efficiency.
  • Track and manage individual performance of the team members.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on privacy practices and project management techniques.
  • Comprehensive understanding of privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree or Juris Doctorate preferred.
  • 15+ years of professional experience, including 10+ years in privacy-related work.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must meet all security eligibility requirements for the position.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $160,000, depending on experience.
