About the Role
We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to provide high-quality nursing care to women and their newborns on our 48-bed Maternal Baby Unit.
As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and document comprehensive assessments of patients and their families
- Develop individualized plans of care to address the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact
- 1 year of experience in perinatal nursing or related field
